Performance Criteria:

  • Performers must provide their own accompaniment unless performing a Capella (no pre-recorded music without prior approval, no karaoke, etc…)
  • Christian based music is the agenda.  Leave other genres for another stage.
  • Performers must prepare up to nine pieces for performance at the festival; stage time is estimated at 45 minutes per set.
  • Performers shall report to the area behind the amphitheater upon arrival at Brickyard Park at least one hour prior to stage time.  Festival personnel will assist you as needed with equipment.  We’ll manage performance details and address questions at that time.
  • Performers acknowledge responsibility for their own equipment and their own safety;  performers will sign a waiver of claim/responsibility, releasing the Nebraska Christian Music Festival and its organizers, Valerian, Inc., of any liability for equipment damage or personal injury sustained during participation in the Festival.  Signature will be obtained prior to performance.
  • Performers must agree to refrain from any derogatory remarks toward any individual, religion or entity while on stage at the festival.
  • Non-contracted performers will perform for no compensation;  the Festival organizers will provide opportunity for sales of recorded music, tee shirts, or other performer-specific materials and organizers will manage sales during the festival.   Receipts will be provided at the close of the festival along with

How to apply, using our on-line process:

  1. Supply the name, address, telephone number and e-mail of your main contact person.
  2. Supply the name of each vocalist and musician in your act.
  3. Supply the name of your act.
  4. Unless already submitted, please attach a digital recording of at least 1 (one) of the songs you intend to perform
  5. Complete the attached technical needs assessment and return it with your application
  6. Unless already submitted, send a photo of yourself or your act for website publication (digital preferred)
  7. Send us your website address if you have one; we’ll provide a link to it from our website!
  8. Let us know if you plan to bring material to sell to the public.  Our sales manager will contact you regarding further details.

When to apply:

  • All applications (information and recordings) must be received no later than July 1, 2010.

  • Applications should completed and submitted on-line (form below).
  • What will happen after your application is received?  After review of your application, you will be notified either by return email or by phone call regarding a decision about your participation in our festival.  Rejections will be accompanied by an explanation of reviewers’ considerations in the decision.
